NAA-EU Wars (2016) | Dark Captains

~ NAA vs Europe Wars ~

Since almost the start of the game, American clans didn't want any Europeans to post in their community. This is the timeline of how the rivalty of Europeans and Americans escallated.

~ Phase 1 ~

In January 2016, European (ex-Leader) FS Niraan made a few posts in the American SDSW Community of Miiverse regarding FS clan (it is said these were recruiting posts for gathering new members, but it can't be proved, Niraan deleted them shortly after).

American clans (especially Fluffy clan) weren't happy with Niraan posting on their community and decided to act.

Fluffy teamed up with Enduring Freedom, 9qN brotherhood and Sea Wolves and formed an alliance called NAA (North American Alliance). The alliance's symbol was a trident "ψ".

Just a few days after Niraan's posts, NAA invaded the European Miiverse SDSW Community, creating posts regarding their clans and drawings which had the "NAA" logo and the trident.

NAA stayed in the EU community at least a week

~ NAA-EU Agreement ~

European players were unable to do something about the invasion. A member of Fluffy, F1Ray created on the European community a post called "NAA-EU Agreement"

Currently, the link of that post is missing, but basically these were the rules that NAA set:

European clans will be posting ONLY in EU community and American clans ONLY in their own community
European clans CAN'T recruit American players and vice versa
- It is possible to hapen if a member wants to join a clan by his/her OWN will
Alliances between American and European clans are forbidden permanently
Any clan can change community, as long it has completely abandoned their previous one

All above rules were approved by FS Leader Flame and Đ© Leader Mario, since they commented on Ray's post positively.

Despite it was never mentioned officially, European players could post NON-clan-related posts/drawings in the American community and vice versa. A good example is ex-F member Combra , who left Fluffy and started posting in the EU community non-clan-related posts.

~ Creation of EAA ~

Some European players decided they should do something with NAA. Dylan & RG¹Enrique decided to start an alliance, with the name "EA" (European Alliance).

Very shortly, the alliance was renamed to "EAA" (European & Australian Alliance), adding Australian players to the alliance but also making the name similar to the NAA.

~ Phase 2 ~

In summer 2016, American clan Leviathan (£) attempted to recruit European members in the European Community, making recruitment posts and ignoring the NAA-EU Agreement. The reason for this was the fact Leviathan had allied with the European $Đ clan and thought they could recruit members everywhere. Seeing that, FS Flame and Mario had a conversation about it. In an out-of-his-character move, Mario proposed to create a Voting, allowing all European clans to decide if they wanted Leviathan in the EU community (even though that would extend the drama).

~ Phase 2: The Voting ~

On 11 July 2016, Đ©1Mario created the Voting post, with the title "★TO ALL EUROPEAN CLANS:★", asking from all EU clans (Leaders, Co-Leaders and up to 5 members per clan) to express their opinion about Leviathan's violation of NAA-EU Agreement.

FS clan & a few other clans were against £, with only Dino's clan (αβ) agreeing with their stay.

Shortly after the Voting's creation, £ Leader Wes£ey commented on the post, asking why are Europeans against £ and being a little rude towards all Europeans and Fluffy (for making the Agreement).

High-ranked Fluffy members seemed to be aware of the Voting post and noticed Wes£ey's comment. One after another, Fluffians were going against Wes£ey and Leviathan.

According to Mario, he had reached the daily limit of 30 posts and he wasn't able to calm down both sides, he could only watch the fight going on.

The Voting reached in short time the maximum 100 comments and closed, with nothing resolved.

Annoyed by the Europeans' reactions, Wesley made a post some hours later, stating he wouldn't continue recruiting EU members anymore.

The fight was over, with L pissed, Europeans finally enjoying their community and Americans skeptical, about the whole incident.

~ EAA's downfall ~

After the Leviathan invasion in EU, EAA decided to fight back NAA. Chat-Rooms were created (some in different communities, in order not to be found easily) thinking what could be done & giving status of what NAA was planning to do in general.

Some members of EAA decided to escalate the situation, making posts directly/indirectly to NAA.

Soon, EAA started civil fights, with some members giving up with the NAA-arguments and asking others to do the same, while others wanted to continue making posts.

EAA was eventually left with a few people, slowly got inactive and got forgotten, leading to its downfall.

In 2017, FS Pamerra made a post wwith the title "EAA News", wondering if EAA still exists. This is the last mention of EAA in Miiverse, marking the unofficial end of the alliance.

~ Outside Miiverse ~

Since Miiverse's Shutdown, all SDSW clans officially stopped, but some continued unofficially on other platforms and social media.

In Amino, there is an Community for SDSW created by Americans (Fluffy mostly).

In that Amino's description, it can be noticed the following:

Nearly all are welcome to join this Amino! (...)

*(PS: We apologize for any confusion with the other SDSW Amino. That one in particular is essentially the European Amino. Between them and NA/JPN players we've had a precarious relationship as they have been long known to boost each others stats unshamefully. This Amino serves the broader community at large [US/MEX/CAN/JPN])

The conflict goes on till today, despite Miiverse has ended.
