DC1MARIO is Đ©¹Mario's Youtube channel. The channel has played a small role for the clan since 2021, with the clan-related "Takeover" Events it is hosting and their respected Tournaments. All of 2021's and 2022's Tournaments are placed into playlists, seen in Home Page. On 2023, only 3 Tournaments happened, compared to previous 2 years.

The basic channel description is the following:

 

Hello, i'm Đ©¹Mario!

 

I'm from Greece and i'm XX years old. This channel is the home of Steel Diver: Sub Wars' Tournaments & Events!

I will also make playlists for various stuff :)

 

I'm the Leader of Đ© clan for SDSW, a free online game for Nintendo 3DS.

At the clan's 10th Anniversary (August 18, 2024), Mario's description was changed a bit:

I'm from Greece and i'm 25+ years old. This channel is the home of Steel Diver: Sub Wars' Tournaments & Events!

 

I will also make playlists for various stuff (especially for Charmx/FreshCutSlim, SMG4, 2J, Skychrew, Viger, NICKRICK Games, WRATH2501) :)

I'm (still unofficially) the Leader of Đ© clan for SDSW, a free online game for Nintendo 3DS.

Đ© stands for Dark Captains & started in 2014 in Miiverse by Seba.

The clan stopped officially on November 7, 2017 with Miiverse's Shutdown & stopped completely in February 2024 due to Nintendo with the game's early shutdown of its online.

2. Channel Banner

At first, Mario hadn't set any specific banner for the channel.

​

After SMG4's WOTFI 2020 video, his main Banner was a screenshot of that video, with SMG3 holding the Youtube Remote and saying "Checkmate.".

This is the longest banner used for the channel so far.

​

During clan-related "Takeover" Events within 2021, Mario was swapping his Banner showcasing the upcoming Tournament date and the featured clan.

​

On February 2022 and the Ukraine-Russia incident, Mario's main Banner changed to SilvaGunner's Banner (of October 26th, 2020).

​

On September 2022, Mario got tired of the black-red banner and used as new main Banner an image of all Nintendo 3ds games he has played.

​

After SMG4's WOTFI 2022 video, his Banner was a screenshot of that video, with Meggy mentioning SMG3's takeover on the SMG4 channel and the Youtube Arc.

For the sake of Timo's Second Takeover Event, Mario used the following Banners"

• October 1st, 2022: re-use of the black-red banner

• October 6th, 2022: a black banner

• October 11th, 2022: resized banner from SMG4 (with SMG3 & the YT Remote in WOTFI '20)

3. Channel Profile Icon

Mario's Profile Image was since the start of the channel the Yellow background, taken from Tomodachi Life. Until early 2021, the Profile Icon never changed.

​

In 2021, Mario found out how to change backgrounds on images and started changing his mii's background.

​

During the clan-related "Takeover" Events of 2021, Mario used his mii with a "Sub Wars" background, with 2 exceptions:

• for EF's Takeover Event 2021, Mario's mii had the USA Flag (the Event was made on July 4th, in America's Independence Day)

• for DCG's Takeover Event 2021, Mario had as background the Profile Icon of the DCG Youtube channel.

On February 2022, with the Ukraine-Russia incident(s), Mario's new main Profile Icon became the gradient black-red background, until September 2022.

​

Once again, during the clan-related "Takeover" Events of 2022, Mario re-used the "Sub Wars" background, with 2 exceptions:

• for April Fools '22, Mario's mii was totally replaced with "DC" Timo, an ex-Đ© member, who "took over" by force the channel. The background of Timo's mii was the original Yellow one, as a throwback to the original Profile Icon of the channel,

• for DCG's Takeover Event 2022, the same Profile Icon was used from last year's same Event.

• for FS Lucas' Takeover Event, Mario's mii was again replaced, this time with FS Lucas' mii, as a reward for winning the most Takeover Tournaments of 2021. The background of FS Lucas' mii was a blue glitching image.

• for "DC"Timo's Second Takeover, the following Profile Icons were used:

  • October 1st, 2022: a glitched profile image

  • October 6th, 2022: an even glitched profile image

  • October 22nd, 2022: Mario in glitched background

In early 2023 and afterwards, the channel icon was reverted to the casual Profile icon with the yellow background.

​

On February 12 of both 2023 and 2024, the Profile Icon was changed temporarily, to celebrate SDSW's 9th and 10th Anniversary.
